HELLO I  haven't wrote in a while but now I'm 9 and in 4th grade I am in the chess club and I LOVE

CHESS I'm making stories how to play chess because I love it so much. This is what the chess board looks like.

I've had lots new hobbies. I play guitar, trumpet and piano.

THE STEELERS

I met all these Steelers. This is Aaron Smith. The middle one is Doug Legursky. And the top one is Brett Keisel. They signed my real NFL football.  I'm wearing a tie because it was a fancy dinner thing. I also met MATT COOKE OF THE PENGUINS!!!!!!!!! Matt Cooke signed my program.  IT WAS THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE!!! (But the tie and stuff UUUUUGGGH!!!!!!!)

my head is a ball magnet because I got hit in the face with a basketball AGAIN!!!!!!!! on the other side of my head on my eye today at my brothers basketball game at the SAME PLACE!!!!!!!!! I am so angry

Home from school today

I am a little bit sick and I have a bruise on my eye. You're probably wondering how I got this bruise on my eye. Well, I was at my brother's basketball game and the game was over someone shot the ball and it bounced off the rim and hit me in the face so that's how I got that bruise. And since I'm sick I'm gonna be resting in my room and sleeping so I'm not gonna post a lot on my blog because I'm staying home from school I just wanted to warn you.  And you're probably wondering what kind of sickness well I woke up in the middle of the night and threw up in the toilet and I've been throwing up all day.

What I Like To Do On Weekends

Well I like to play my Playstation3 in the morning and I have lots of friends in my neighborhood that I love to play with. And There always free so I don't stay inside all day. Me and my 2 other friends, Jack and Alex, well they are both brothers. Jack is older and he helps me make funny video's on my itouch. Me and him are really good at the video's and his little brother is really good at taping the video's and he's good in them too.
This is me and Jack.  We play together a lot. And we are on the same basketball team at our school.

My Dog Buddy

I love to play with my dog Buddy. I think he is the cutest dog in the world. He loves to play in the snow with me and my friends. Buddy is really fast. Since he is so fast my friend and I call him Rashard Buddy or Buddy Mendenhall. Once me and my friend were chasing him in the backyard and my friend and I were across from each other running to get Buddy. He ran right between us and he made us crash into each other. That's why we knew Buddy was funny, cute and smart.

2011 My Rookie Year in Football. 1/12/12

Hi I'm Grant.  I played tackle football.  But my season's over.  I was #54.  I played tight end and safety I was pretty good but I couldn't run that fast because the pads were kinda heavy.  Bu I was a really good helper.  I was a pretty good blocker. And I really liked it because it was really fun and I learned a lot.  I learned a lot about Offense and Defense of linemen.   I started out as a Safety. Then, I learned a lot about offensive linemen because they put me there first and then they put me at tight-end. Safety was really fun too! Because you got to run a lot because they would always come around the side and you would have to tackle them.  So you got a little bit of running in during the game.  An end-around is when the tight ends come around and get the ball.  So I once did an end around and the coaches called it "Grant End Around". like they always do with the other tight ends.  So I was in my position. I was so nervous because it was my first time running the ball.  So I got it and I ran around the side. I broke away from one tackle but the defense was too strong. Right after I broke that tackle another kid came around and slammed me down for a loss of yardage.
